Winterlight’s notable motherline was developed by the Kleemeyer family in Sudweyhe. His dam, SPS Priscilla, was winner of the 1995 Sudweyhe Mare Show where two years earlier her family had won the group prize. Priscilla’s first foal, a colt by Warkant, sold to a professional dressage rider in the US. Wremy, a Walt Disney filly, will be presented for inspection in 2003.

Priscilla is one of three mares from this family–and the second daughter of SPS Samantha–now in the Marefield breeding program. Priscilla’s half sister by Pablo, EM Papagena, was Filly and Young Horse Champion, DAD 1994, Young Horse and Reserve Grand Champion, PVDA 1995, and site champion at her 1995 AHS/VhW Inspection.

Samantha has two outstanding daughters who remain at Hof Kleemeyer: SPS Brentina (Brentano II) passed her MPT with a score above 7.5 in dressage and 8.0 in jumping; SPS Peggy Sue (Pablo) is dam of the 2001 Waterford filly who placed 3rd of the young foals at the very large and highly competitive Sudweyhe Foal Show. A Samantha son, Dolani (Drosselklang), is a successful S-level competitor in training with Holga Finken.

Samantha’s dam, SPS Androne, is dam of EM Salvana, the third mare from the Kleemeyer motherline in the Marefield breeding program. Salvana was Reserve Young Horse Champion, DAD 1994, Filly Champion and Reserve Young Horse Champion, Lexington 1995, and winner of the Hanoverian Young Horse IBC, DAD 1995. Androne is also dam of Sherlock Holmes, Reserve Champion of the 1992 Adelheidsdorf 11-month SPT, with an overall score of 145.49, and a finalist at the 1992 Bundeschampionat. A full brother of Salvana and Sherlock Holmes, Savaldo, has been successfully competed from L-level to S-level over the past two show seasons by Hof Kleemeyer trainer Ingrid Wilkens.
