Aragon (Arrian/EM Revel)

DOB: 5/29/2003

The last born was the largest foal at 150 lbs. Her maiden dam handled the birth well and is an excellent mother. It shows in the filly who is sweet and sensible. When Aragon matures, we think this fuzzy teddy bear with the friendly floppy ears will be a really big horse well suited to face some really big jumps.

Archon (Arrian/EM Mabb)

DOB: 5/18/2003

We regret that Mabb did not have a filly to keep her bloodlines in the herd since she will sell as a riding horse after weaning, but we can’t complain about this typey and easy-going colt. Born wise and sensible, he certainly earned his name. He should make a top riding horse.

Carlyle (Contendro/December)

DOB: 5/23/2003

This fellow was born very small (from a large dam) and was a bit too eager to catch up. He grew so fast that he had to be on stall rest during his first months, something he considered a boring state of affairs. Now that he is on turnout, this muscular little athlete has the opportunity to expend some of his excess energy.

Fleuret (Fabriano/Poppaea)

DOB: 5/21/2003

This filly is closely related to the Clasens’ outstanding mare Fenjala. That alone would have made her a keeper. Fleuret’s charming type and sweet temperament confirm her status as a future member of the breeding program.

Rion (Ruiz Soler/EM Decuma)

DOB: 4/17/2003

Rion was at Marion DuPont Scott for eye surgery at the time of the photo shoot. The typey, elegant colt with the good gaits is recovering nicely and his injury should not hinder him in the future. His angelic temperament has never waivered over the weeks of aftercare and he still looks as if he might be a stallion prospect.

Rosinanta (Ruiz Soler/EM Daalny)

DOB: 5/3/2003

This typey filly already has a co-owner in Laura Whitford, who looks forward to riding and showing her in a few years–as she did so successfully with her dam.

Royce (Ruiz Soler/EM Papagena)

DOB: 5/6/2003

This elegant filly will carry her mother’s bloodlines into the next generation of the Marefield breeding program. She is definitely a keeper.
